Hey there!

My name is Amy and hopefully your next photographer! I'm a gardening, homesteading, lover of all things nature. I'm an eastern Kentucky native, having spent most of my life on the small farm I grew up on in Elliott County. 

I've always been drawn to the beauty of an old farm and realized a couple years back that every farm I saw would only create the perfect background for a portrait. I had done a few pictures here and there, (my poor child and Australian Shepherd got to model for me a lot. Let's just say there were several times I'd drag out the camera bag and my daughter would sigh and say, "Again?!") and so I began to develop a love of photography.

But what truly captivated me were those images that captured those real organic emotions and I knew right then that this was something that I HAD to do. So a few years later and a lot of work under my belt, I decided it was time to take my hobby to the next level.

I'm a tad bit obsessed with detail and throwing things together. I love a good challenge and pushing myself "outside of the box", so to speak. I might make you laugh or cry, we might dance through an open field, or explore new places together. If you're a youngster we may play hide and seek or race down a road, but I will do whatever it takes to help capture the images that will mean the most to you.

Brushy Creek is special to me. It's a backcountry road that truly established who I am. My ancestors settled themselves here and to be able to own a piece of the "motherland" really brings me home. I'm currently remodeling and situating our old farm. I have so many ideas that I'm going to create and offer for YOU! I'll always be doing something different and would love to be able to offer all this beauty with you, right outside my back door!
